The Digital Engine of the Audio-Visual Integration Platform Boosts High-Quality Development of Tarim Oilfield

2024-11-26 16:26:29

On October 12th, the pilot construction of the digital transformation and intelligent development of the Tarim Oilfield successfully passed the acceptance inspection by the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The expert team listened to the report on the achievements of the Intelligent Operations Center and the collaborative research on the digital transformation of exploration and development at the Tarim Oilfield. They gave high praise for the progress made.

The group's evaluation concluded that the digital transformation of the Tarim Oilfield has created a "Tarim Model" for CNPC's digital transformation, focusing on system methodologies, platform capabilities, and scenario development. The Tarim Oilfield's audio-visual project took five years, from initiation to completion and acceptance. After the gradual launch of the 15 modules of the system, it was continuously improved through user trials, enhancing the system's functionality and stability, ultimately ensuring stable system operation.

Xingtu Xinke, as an important component of the digital and intelligent development pilot project for the Tarim Oilfield, has leveraged its extensive experience in scheduling platforms, video command, video intelligence computing, and artificial intelligence to tailor a complete audio-visual integration platform solution for the Tarim Oilfield.

Adhering to the standards and specifications of the Tarim Cloud Technology Platform and the regional data lake, and based on the overall "3+3" top-level design framework for the oilfield’s digital transformation, the solution follows the audio-visual resource access management standards. It integrates four types of signals—video, conference, voice, and display control—into the system, with data collected through different networking methods converging into the office network. This enables the creation of an audio-visual data model that shares data with the regional data lake.

Relying on the cloud technology platform, the system provides unified interfaces to support information applications for the oilfield's business systems and government agencies. The audio-visual web applications, apps, components, and widgets are then deployed to the Tarim Oilfield’s Tangtu Application Platform.

The solution offers unified audio-visual data and application services for different user levels and business systems within the oilfield. It enables tiered applications of audio-visual business and data sharing, contributing to optimizing production organization, enhancing controlled safety production, improving security and stability, increasing emergency rescue efficiency, enriching employee communication methods, and laying the foundation for greater operational efficiency and benefits.

Through the implementation of the solution, our project has also achieved significant results.

At the data collection level, through standardized audio-visual collection equipment and technology, a unified video access platform was established. This platform realized the unified access and management of video signals, conference signals, voice signals, and display control signals in fixed, mobile, and temporary locations within the oilfield.

At the information storage level, a unified data storage platform was built, achieving centralized storage and management of media data and media information, which are then uploaded to the data lake. This solved the issues of scattered data storage, large format differences, and the inability to share and access data. It also provided strong support for fast data retrieval and efficient utilization.

At the platform service level, information interoperability and resource sharing between systems was achieved, completing the construction of 26 data middleware platforms and 48 business middleware platforms.

At the business application level, a series of audio-visual application components and visualization widgets were tailored for the Tarim Oilfield. These components and widgets not only met the oilfield’s needs for personnel supervision, safety work control, risk identification, and early warning at production sites, but also provided necessary digital support for engineering construction, oil and gas production, and security maintenance work.
